Sejarah singkat

Turbo pascal (klik==> downolad) merupakan bahasa pemrograman tingkat tinggi ( High Level Language ) yang orientasinya pada segala tujuan. Bahasa pascal dirancang oleh seorang professor dari technical university di Zurich, Switzerland. yang bernama Niklaus Wirth. Nama pascal itu sendiri diambil sebagai penghargaan terhadap Blaise pascal, Seorang ahli matematik yang sangat terkenal pada abad ke-17 yang berasal dari negara perancis. Bahasa pascal pertama kali perkenalkan untuk komputer CDC 60000 ( Control data Corporation ) pada tahun 1971 dengan tujuan membantu mengajar sistem komputer secara sistematis. Khususnya untuk pemrograman yang terstruktur.

Mengutip dari sejarah singkat di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahasa pascal adalah bahasa pemrograman terstruktur yang berorientasi untuk segala tujuan. Sekarang bahasa pascal telah menjadi bahasa program yang populer baik dikalangan Pelajar, Universitas, Bahkan di beberapa profesional komputer. pascal merupakan bahasa yang di ajarkan diperguruan tinggi.
